SICG, Villawood fetured on Channel Nines morning news show, Today. Axel, one of our staff was doing work experience with the weather crew. When asked if he had any ideas about where to do the weater crosses; Axel suggested Villawood. A bunch of dedicated climbers crawled out of bed to be climbing in the gym at 6am. Thanks Channel nine and all the staff and climbers that gave us such incredible exposure.

SICG Villawood is around the same size as the St Peters gym, but with a more open feel. The main climbing area is over 14 meters high. At the centre are be two towers with lots of lead climbing on steep faces, aretes, roofs, and corners. The surrounding walls will have top ropes, including an international standard speed wall, and lots of variety.

We also have bouldering, kids' activities, party areas and a climbing gear shop.

Memberships purchased at either St Peters or Villawood opens will be valid for both.

In a first for Sydney climbing gyms, SICG Villawood will be air conditioned.
