Q. How much is it?
A. Pay casual rates for unlimited time sessions or buy a membership. See the prices link. There is a $4 once off joining fee.
Q. When are you open?
A. We have opening hours to suit everyone. Opening hours can be seen on the side panel of the site. For holiday opening times check out the News tab.
Q. How do I get there?
A. We're at 4C/1-7 Unwins Bridge Rd St Peters. You can easily come by car, bus or train - click the Location Map at the top right of the web site.
Q. Do I need to book?
A. For casual entry there is no need to book - just come in for a climb. Only book if you want a group discount for 10 or more people. See the Price List and Group Climbing brochure for details.
Q. Do I need a climbing partner?
A. You need a partner to climb the roped routes, but not for bouldering. Try finding a partner on our page. Several meetup groups come climbing here as well.
Q. What age restrictions do you have?
A. To belay on our top ropes you need to be 12 or older. Under 12s can climb but not belay. If you are under 15 you will need an adult (18 year old) to supervise you while you are here.
You need to be 16 to boulder here.
Q. How many routes do you have?
A. Around 350 roped routes, 120 leadable, with 160 topropes, as well as the 200m2 bouldering wall.
Q. How high are your routes?
A. Wall height ranges from 11 to 16m, average 14m. Route lengths up to 25m.
Q. How much bouldering do you have?
A. One big 200m2 4.5m high wall. New problems are put up most weeks.
Q. If I'm a beginner, will you show me what to do?
A. Yes - we provide a free lesson covering safety and the rope work (belaying) to all new members.
Q. Do you have memberships?
A. On your first visit you fill in a registration form and receive a free membership card. You can also buy memberships which reduce the cost for frequent climbers - see the prices link.
Q. What about climbing lessons?
A. We run classes for beginners and intermediate level climbers, as well as training programs for advanced climbers - see the Club Info > Tuition
Q. What other facilities do you have?
A. Four kitchens/party rooms, lounge, TV, showers/change rooms, free parking, climbing gear shop, drinks and snacks.
Q. When are your busiest times?
A. Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday nights and weekends during the day.
